Hello friend 👋! I am back with another round of open-source projects for you to check out, and maybe even contribute to!

To support me:

  • Share the newsletter with your friends, it helps more than you think!

  • Please share your feedback with me!

The people behind good old Node.js recently updated the official, and very outdated, nodejs.org website. Now with a new design and state-of-the-art technology, the website is up to today’s standard.

You can contribute to the website or the docs for Node.js, it would be pretty cool to have your name on a Node.js contribution 😆 .

Dub is an open-source link management platform designed specifically for the needs of modern marketing teams. It offers a feature set that goes beyond just shortening links, including:

  • Powerful analytics that provides insights into things like geolocation, device, browser, and referrer information for your clicks.

  • The ability to use your own branded domain for links.

  • Free QR code generation.

  • Link personalization.

  • Team collaboration features.

The project is built with a modern tech stack that includes Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and more. They, of course, also encourage contributions.

Linkwarden is an open-source collaborative bookmark manager that tackles the problem of link rot, where saved links become inaccessible over time. It not only stores links but also captures screenshots, PDFs, and even sends them to the Wayback Machine for archiving.

By contributing to the project you not only help with code but also help preserve the internet 🧓

Focalboard is an open-source project management tool that rivals Trello and Asana.

It is of course open-source, so you can edit, add, remove, self-host, contribute, and much more! It is built with React on the front end and Go on the back end.
