Second brain, AI, Security, and more! This week’s top 5 open-source projects (February 12, 2024) #36
Hey friend 👋 ! Yet another weekend has passed, and I am back with another handful of exciting open-source projects. This time I have a mix of productivity tools, cyber security, and more!

You have probably used tools like Notion and Miro before, but you might not enjoy them. Why not look at an alternative? AFFiNE is an open-source and next-gen knowledge-base. It makes for a great second-brain for all your planning, sorting and creating.
The tool is privacy-first, open-source, and customizable.

Do you need to integrate AI into your applications, but don’t know which to use, and how to put them together? Flowvise is a drag-and-drop editor for putting together your own custom AI flows. Flowise is easy to extend, integrate, and customize.

It’s been a bit since I featured a component library, so I thought it was time again. Element Plus is a Vue 3 UI framework/component library, filled to the brim with great components. From components you know from all libraries like buttons and layouts, to components you don’t always see like statistics, tours, transfers, and more, this library is a great one!

You are probably a great developer, building some amazing apps, but do you know your personal security? This entry might be a bit out of place from the normal sections in this newsletter, but it serves as a good reminder to be on top of your security game.
Digital Defense has an open-source personal security checklist for you to use!
